In December 2015, IRHOCS2015 was held in the gym of Taiwan University. Our school robot team hacked their way through difficulties and won the champion finally with a solid performance.
          Sponsored by the Taiwan University Intelligent robot and International center for the study of automation and directed by Institute of Electronics Engineers, this competition was aimed at cultivating personnel in the robot domain. It’s one of the most important competitions in the field of international basketball robot, with high originality, high technical threshold, and global competition for robots.The theme of this competition requires the robot to automatically find the ball in the basketball court, breakthrough, passing and shooting, divided into three rounds. In the first two rounds, the robot is required to coordinate with a team member to pass the ball, and in the final round, the robot is required to autonomous positioning and shooting. The robot challenges the real height of the basketry and five random obstacles. Compared with previous years, the difficulty of the competition has been greatly improved.
          The competition involves multi-disciplinary expertise, not only requires the players have a solid foundation of professional knowledge, but also have a strong engineering practice. This is the first time we have won the important event champion of the international basketball robot.
