China’s civil aviation markets as well as Xiamen’s local civil aviation industry are expected to significantly boost in next 20 years. The key civil aviation researches include: safe & efficient operation for civil aerocraft, health monitoring, failure prevention analysis, system engineering management, new method & technology for maintenance & remanufacture etc.

For the need of high safety & reliability for unmanned aerocraft, concentrating on developing autonomous flight control system which involves: bus based hardware redundancy technology, identification system based fault diagnosis, fault-tolerant control technology based on self-adaptive and control rule reconstruction etc.

Aiming at the national key research projects such as hypersonic aircraft, large aircraft, lunar exploration project, implementing aerospace vehicle aerodynamics design, complex flow control and analysis, characteristic analysis for operating stability, advanced guidance and control technology, aircraft structure design etc

Adam Siebenhaar was born and raised in Mainz, Germany. After completion of his engineering education he worked for three years at Messerschmitt in Munich, Germany and then emigrated to the United States of America in 1970 where he still resides today. He was employed by Aerojet in Sacramento, California, for 44 years. Currently he owns his own company, MACH 7H Consulting. 

This seminar is the first gathering of national aviation colleges. It discusses the teaching models and methodologies on aviation in depth. It will promote the development of the national aviation education, and boost the training of high-level innovative talents for advanced aerospace.
